Hello

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2003 with the NEBDN and later went on to qualify as a tutor and assessor, and most recently as an IQA. I have always held a special interest in the training and education of others and knew that long term, I wanted to have my own business in this area. I am not what you would call a "natural student"; I have had to learn several techniques over the years to keep myself focused and to save myself from procrastination. I have suffered from self-doubt and have worried that my work simply isn't good enough. Being a student can be hard, no matter the subject, and I want to build a safe community for students - it can feel very lonely sometimes, especially in the world of online learning.

My mission for NurturED is to provide a nurturing and inclusive educational environment that empowers my students to excel academically whilst prioritising their mental and emotional well-being. I am committed to equipping learners with practical resources and effective techniques that foster resilience, self-awareness and personal growth, enabling them to thrive both in their studies and in everyday life.
